In 2008, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was invited to a Koch Brothers event on loosening campaign finance rules, and was reimbursed for travel, accommodation, and meals. Two years later, he helped to decide on Citizen United case that allowed unlimited corporate donations to campaigns.
