Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax Headline the 2010 Jagermeister Music Tour

In 2010 the four fathers of heavy metal, Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer, toured Europe in the traveling Sonisphere festival.
It appears that the head-banging inducing musicians will have another go-around later this year sans Metallica this time around. Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth will be spreading the metal love live and in person throughout the U.S., and not just on the silver screen like we were all reduced to when all the bands toured together previously.
The three metal bands will be involved in the Jagermeister Music Tour.
The tour kicks off on Friday, Sept. 24 at the Superpages.com Center in Dallas, Texas and comes to a halt on Thursday, Oct. 21 at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, California. Tickets range from $10 to $69.50 before taxes and those fabulous convenience fees; you can purchase a maximum of up to eight tickets through Ticketmaster.com.
As on now, Metallica isn’t booked on any of the Jagermeister Music Tour shows but I wouldn’t be surprised if the band tagged along for a few shows and played some songs.
