Did you know that Senators can delete unpleasant things they say from the congressional record? As Jon Kyl did of his remarks about Planned Parenthood

It's as if it never hap­pened. The claim by Repub­li­can Sen­a­tor Jon Kyl that 90% of what Planned Par­ent­hood does is pro­vid­e abor­tions, has mag­i­cally dis­ap­peared from the Con­gres­sional records. Appar­ently, sen­a­tors can review their state­ments on the floor of the sen­ate after mak­ing them, and make changes for the record.
