Tom Petty wants Bachmann to lay off 'American Girl'

Tom Petty is not happy with the presidential hopeful for using his hit 'American Girl.'

 

Juana Summers flags the report that Tom Petty is less than thrilled with Michele Bachmann for having used his well-worn hit "American Girl" as a campaign song at her Waterloo kickoff.
It would be another way in which a GOP candidate could compare themselves to Ronald Reagan, who Bruce Springsteen called out for using "Born in the USA" as a campaign song.
