The only true act of journalism of any meaning all year was Scott Pelley, on 60 Minutes, turning the light on congress being allowed to do insider trading. That report actually shamed congress into passing a law forbidding the practice. If the press wanted to, they could do stories like that every night and clean up Washington. Sadly they wont.
