MSNBC is not a Democratic/liberal news organization. It is a pro-corporate organization that produces a TV news show for Democrats/liberals. Neither is FOX News a Republican/conservative organization. Even more craftily, it does not promote a conservative agenda but a corporate agenda in disguise.
A useful analogy would be to imagine ESPN tailoring its football coverage in Dallas and in D.C. to favor the Cowboys and the Redskins. ESPN doesn't care who wins, it just cares about getting people to like football so it can make more money covering it.
