Does anyone else think that Congressmen/women should have to pass a standardized US History test?

CNN Poll: Americans flunk budget IQ test

Looking at many of the acts that are constantly brought up again and again in US History you would think that eventually the representatives would learn. Passing an exam such as the AP US History Test would allow our representatives to make educated decisions based on historical evidence regardless of party. I'm sure this is unconstitutional in some manner but one can dream.

Then again, I'd settle for an IQ test and a sanity check. Maybe see they can tell a cat from a pig, and a voter from someone to be ignored.
